Missed a DT Call :(

I created this card for the High Hopes Design Team call and then I realized that the deadline was LAST Sunday and not today.

Bummer.

Just wanted to share the card anyway because I REALLY love how it turned out!

Belated Valentine

With having been sick for so long, I haven't mailed anything out that I was supposed to all during February... and to all of you, I apologize!  Everything will go in the mail on Monday.

This belated Valentine's Day mailbox will be on it's way to my good Friend Karyn in Ohio - I'm not going to tell you what's in it, but it's so packed full, I had to tie it shut with a ribbon so the lid wouldn't pop off!

I used the Melinda Hugging Heart from the Whiff of Joy stamps colored with prismacolor pencils, glitter on her wings, prima flowers and plenty of rhinestones... I think she turned out just adorable!

Jayden Video

Here is a little video clip of Jayden in his crib at the hospital that I took with my camera.  This is my first time trying to load a video on my blog :)

I'm an Auntie!

My little sister had her baby yesterday!

His name is Jayden Daniel ... 9 lb 5 oz, 20.2 inches long

Here I am with him and then a pic of him lying in his bed.

He is really good tempered - he only cried a little bit and stopped almost as soon as he started.

I was there from about 11am until about 10pm and he was such a quiet baby!

Way too long!

I can't believe it has been so long since my last post - I have been sick this whole time and I still have a hacking cough...hopefully that will be gone soon - this is getting old!

I DID make some Valentines items that I never got to posting, so they will come late ... but better late than never... right?

This first one is the card I made my husband.  We always blow kisses to each other when we walk out the door.  The inside says "Muah...whooh!" (sound of blowing a kiss).

He loved it when he opened it :)

I am trying to get a good pic of the altered mailbox I made ... I'll post that later if I can get it to photograph clearly.

No new projects, but Prayers needed

I apologize to all of you for not having something pretty and new to post for you!

I was so busy all weekend that I didn't even get a chance to walk into my craft room, let alone sit down and make something.  I'm hoping, if I can shake this cold or sinus infection or whatever I seem to be getting, I will be able to go up tonight and make some pretties to share with you all!

Also - if any of you are praying people, Kirby, my husband, could use some prayers.  We were roller skating last night and about 15 min before the session was over, he was doing fine and all of a sudden his wheels went out from under his feet and he landed flat on his lower back.  It happened so fast that he doesn't know what happened. He is in a lot of pain and we are going to the chiropractor today.

Thanks for prayers, well wishes and good thoughts - the more the better.

I got a second stamp from The Greeting Farm called Cake Topper which can make a perfect wedding, romance, valentines, anniversary or general love card!

Heck - You could even snip them apart and use them separately! 

I made a romantic little valentine from these two.
