I did this for a Summer challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie :)  I just love the summer flowers with her beautiful pinks and purples!

I used diamond glaze in her eyes and with a sprinkle of glitter on her fins and tail to give them that sparkling look.  She has shimmer on her tail and hair. This was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits (which are far from odorless).

All of the paper was from my scrap bag along with two heart doilies, paper flowers and some seashells I had hanging around.  The fish are little beads that I got years ago in a swap.

For a pretty much recycled card, she looks pretty fresh!

A cute little housewarming card!
A friend of mine needed a baby card and I made this for her...

A while back my friend's dog passed away.  I made up this card, which looks like my dog, and sent it as a sympathy card.

Graduation season

My good friend Ginny graduated after studying long and hard to get her degree and I made this cute little mouse for her...

I local lady ordered the following two cards from me and
I was so happy to be able to customize them for her!

A gal wanted to give her boyfriend a card for his graduation and I made this cute little bunny into a graduate by paper piecing a cap onto his head :)

I made this one just in case, and it is available for sale if anyone is interested!
The cap attached to the tassel is a metal charm.

Entered a Design Team contest!

I just submitted this fun rainy day gal for a design team contest over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends!  I just love the designs that she is coming out with recently!  Wish me luck!

The first image shows the shiny detail on the water and the glittery teal ruffle.  The colors are a little off due to the pic being taken at night.

This is the actual card colors - I took this pic during the day outside to get the best natural light.  I used real Swarovski crystals on the small flowers :)

I'm Baaaaack!!!!

Just over 5 years ago, I made a post at Christmas and then I ended up going back to school.  I completed my bachelors and I am now in my Masters program, plus add a cross country move this past October, and I have finally gotten my craft room together and I have my crafting mojo back!  To keep me motivated, I have joined with a few friends to exchange cards.  Here is a peek at what I have done in the past week...
