Well - sitting up in my craft room was my very first attempt at coloring with Copics on my own. When Karyn was here, I borrowed her markers.
I used one of my first Tilda stamps and I think she is just the essence of summer!!
Thistles around here don't really get tall and bloom until the middle of July... and they are my favorite flower!
So here she is ... Tilda with a Thistle, colored with Copic markers on some "quilted" background paper from my scrap box. She is decorated with white lace from Wal-Mart, purple rick-rack ribbon from Karyn, which I am sure is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, purple dotted paper is from DoodleBug Designs, the pink is a scrap of mulberry paper, the flowers are prima with stickles centers and the wings sparkle with prisma glitter!

Tilda is VERY cute! She reminds me just a little bit of the Joan Walsh Anglund (I might be spelling her name incorrectly) drawings from the 70's. I also love the quilted paper.
I love this card you made. also love the quilted paper. love the image for summer.
adorable and the paper looks so 3-D!
That quilted paper is really neat looking! I also love the strip of Mulberry across it. I think you did a wonderful job of coloring and this all came together nicely!
Great cards you've been making! Did you ever get the ones I sent you?
This is beautiful. Love the colour you used. I too love thistles, they are a great flower.
